A veteran of music for television, film and advertising, Wendell is known for the hit HBO show, Curb Your Enthusiasm, as well as having been the musical director and segment composer for the Screen Actor’s Guild Awards on NBC and more recently as composer, sound designer and sound mixer for SYFY and Sony in the YouTube release of Deadly Class Motion Comics 1-3, a series show creator/ producer Rick Remender recently tweeted as “a stunning achievement”. Wendell’s numerous credits include original scores for shows on Comedy Central, FOX, ABC and NBC. Through Wendell’s ongoing partnership with FirstCom/ Universal his music has appeared regularly on Saturday Night Live, Dancing with the Stars, NFL Films, Archer, American Idol as well as many others. In advertising, Wendell’s music has been associated with an ever growing list including Disney on Ice, Warner Brothers Animation (Batman, Batman 2000, Superman) Honda, The Simpsons, Def Jam Records, Volvo and Ceasar’s Palace. Working with proprietary technology, Wendell supplied musical content for Yamaha’s AC3, the first surround sound system designed for home entertainment and Beatnik Music which became the ring tone engine for many of the first Nokia digital cellular phones. In the emerging world of internet media, Wendell has created original scores for numerous comic franchises including Injustice (Superman vs. Batman), Archie – The New Riverdale (via Spotify), League of Legends, My Little Pony, Black Panther, The Transformers and numerous others via various interactive reading formats and apps.
